North York Concert Band

The North York Concert Band is a community-based musical organization of approximately 40 musicians under the direction of John Liddle. The individual members are enthusiastic performers from all walks of life who range in age from 23 to 85.

The band has a long history as one of the GTA’s finest ensembles. Its mission is to bring a wide variety of music to the public -- in outdoor and indoor venues for those who are able to attend concerts, and to retirement residences, hospitals, and other community facilities for those who appreciate music being brought to them. The band also loves to play at community festivals and special events both within and without the boundaries of Toronto.
